Lal Bahadur Shastri
Institute of Management, Delhi has been recognised as a premier B-School in the
country. But the success story of this institute is aptly synonymous with the
personality after whom this monument of learning was made. LBSIM was established by Lal Bahadur
Shastri Educational Trust in 1995 with its campus at RK Puram. Quality
education, ethical behaviour and flexible environment have been the
characteristics of an institute which takes esteemed pride in abiding by the
moral values. A transition in the location of campus from RK Puram to Dwarka
has been in accordance with the mission to provide an elite class education
with a reasonable fee structure relative to the counter parts. The campus is
marked by a state of the art infrastructure and a top-notch library. The campus
offers world-class infrastructural facilities with a splendid auditorium,
having capacity of 300 people and an open air-theatre. LBSIM is recognized by
All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Ministry of Human Resource
Development, and Government of India for Two Year Full-Time Post Graduate
Diploma in Management (Approved by AICTE) Two Year Full-Time Post Graduate
Diploma in Management-Finance (Approved by AICTE). Esteemed

accomplishment of this colossal institute. Lal Bahadur Shastri Research Center
(LBSRC) works in collaboration with administrators, policymakers and
politicians for upliftment of weaker sections of society. Lal Bahadur Shastri
National Award for excellence in public administration, academics and
management was instituted by LBSIM, which is given by the President of India at
Rashtrapati Bhawan. With an obligation to magnify, institute aims to create humane
managers with a utilitarian approach to further negotiate organisational and personal
